Education in 2020 - Hereem Aziz

During these hard times of going through our initial pandemic, adjusting to a new lifestyle has been difficult for everyone. Education is essential for all children, however, there is a lot of controversy going around on whether going to school in person is the correct choice, given the current circumstances. In my opinion, if the online school is accessible in your region, then it would be the smarter and safer choice to take part in. Since the schedules are complicated where you can only go a few times a week with lessened hours, it would be efficient to simply stay home and proceed with your learning. Multiple benefits would occur to both you and your community if you stayed home. Health risks would be decreased as there would be a minimal spreading of COVID-19. Even though schools are taking precautions, it is always better to be safe than sorry. Nonetheless, some students would benefit from in-class leaning, depending on whether they are visual learners or not. If you are someone who prefers to learn hands-on with extra help then going to school would be the better choice. This is because you would learn a lot more and not fall behind, as you’d be getting all the help you need. In conclusion, when choosing between going to school or learning at home, it all comes down to the type of learner you are. In the end, no matter which option you choose, putting in hard work and dedication into your studies will be the most important factor in your future path.
