Life is full of ups and downs. Sometimes you may feel like you're at the top of the world, while other times feeling like you can't do anything right. It is these other days, the days where you feel "down," that makes us commit poor decisions and leave a bad taste in our mouths. Thus, it is extremely important for us to not dwell on these bad moments and instead focus on the good things of our lives. In this blog, I will explain some of the things that many people (and that I) do whenever we are feeling down.
When you are feeling low, doing a hobby that you regularly enjoy is a great way to lift your spirits. For example, I like to play my violin whenever I don't feel so good because the violin is a hobby of mine that reminds me of better times. Sports, video games, and writing are also some examples of hobbies that people take up whenever they want to feel good again.
Interacting with others is also another great way to cheer yourself back up. When you reach out to others, they will share their joy with you. Just make sure the people who are close to you are reaching out to help and won't drag you down. Good friends will cheer you up and make you stronger, but bad friends will bring you down and make you feel even worse.
There are, of course, dozens of other ways to make yourself feel great, but these two are in my opinion the most simple and effective. So, never be afraid of the unhappy moments of your life, because there will always be a way to make yourself happy again.
